Conscious & Connected Parenting

The joy of having a child is all encompassing . . . the miracle of birth, the thrill of baby's first smile, first word, first step. As our family grows and as each child becomes an individual who has definite ideas on how they want to live their life, challenges emerge, conflicts arise and we start to look for the User's Manual that came with the child. Quickly we realize that there is no User's Manual and we are often stressed to find out that we are on our own and we have questions!

Countless parents have participated in our Getting the Love You Want workshop and have been positively impacted, even transformed, by learning and using Imago ideas and tools. Many have asked, "Can this work with our children?" The answer is, "Absolutely!"

The newest idea on the Imago horizon is a down-to-earth training experience for parents to learn how to apply the powerful skills of Imago to the daunting task of parenting. We have created a two-day weekend workshop that will materially improve your confidence, empowerment, and success as you travel through your parenting adventure.

We will

• Teach you how to use the "Dialogue" with your kids even when they do not "want" it;
• Teach you how to eliminate the most common ways parents lose connection with their children;
• Teach you how to validate your children while maintaining your "executive function" as parents at all times;
• Help you grapple with your toughest questions about the stuck places that everyone will surely find familiar;
• Encourage you in the use of discipline in such a way that your children will respect and honor your role as their parents;
• Teach you how to remain connected with your children through it all.
  

Note: Participation in ANY Getting the Love You Want workshop is a prerequisite to this workshop.

Cost

$675 per couple. Requires a $300, non-refundable deposit. Balance is due upon arrival.

• Monthly Newsletters supporting the integration of Imago tools and ideas into your relationship;
• David and Donna's warm hospitality as they welcome you into their spacious and relaxing country home;
• David and Donna's professional expertise as two gifted IMAGO Coaches and Workshop Presenters;
• David and Donna's personal experience as they share examples from their own IMAGO journey;
• Two days of David and Donna's entertaining instruction and personal support as you learn new ideas and practice the IMAGO tools throughout the weekend;
• Continental breakfasts and snacks throughout the weekend; other meals and lodging are not included.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your registration, your deposit may be transferred to another available workshop. Because of limited space and frequent waiting lists, this transfer is available only with notice more than 10 days prior to the workshop.
